Monkey Business!

Couple months ago a long time client, private collector asked me to do a series of monkeys on two bowls...since the bowls were rather small it was quite challenging trying to fit the monkeys into the space and still have negative space to create a perfect design element. I did want from the beginning one falling/jumping off a tree and that's where I started my draft from....

Below are pictures from the bowls, the client was quite happy with them and so was I! The pictures were taken with a camera phone so excuse the picture quality!
