Monkey Business!

Couple months ago a long time client, private collector asked me to do a series of monkeys on two bowls...since the bowls were rather small it was quite challenging trying to fit the monkeys into the space and still have negative space to create a perfect design element. I did want from the beginning one falling/jumping off a tree and that's where I started my draft from....

Below are pictures from the bowls, the client was quite happy with them and so was I! The pictures were taken with a camera phone so excuse the picture quality!

This Sunday is Fathers Day and as we celebrate Dad's I feel blessed to have had an awesome dad! Couldn't have asked for a better one...

 

Welcome June....

Can't believe its June this Saturday! Been a busy half year for me... 

Summer's  just round the corner and it's definitely the best part of the year for me! I will be showing my work at Art A Fair, Laguna Beach, CA for the whole summer as well and for the first time this year I will be engraving on location in my booth space A18. 

I will also be displaying my work at thehe Malibu Art's Festival. The Malibu Arts Festival promises to offer something for everyone.  43 years of incredible high-end art, 43 years of beauty, 43 years of a wonderful event - known world wide!  Produced by the Malibu Chamber of Commerce, the two-day weekend event will take place July 26-27, from 10 am to 6 pm, in front of the Malibu Civic Center. ...

Dragonfly Bonanza...

Last week I had the privilege of engraving a special birthday gift for a very dear client..I love Dragonflies and I love the fact that she does too.. 

I engraved three different perfume bottles for her and an ice vanity tray by Orrefors... The fragrance bottles are by oleg Cassini.

Growing up is mandatory

Each of the bottles has her name engraved on the bottle...I must say that I really loved the final pieces and she did too!
